Rocket X Landing · Last updated: 20 October 2026 (added leaderboards and purchases)

Rocket X Landing ("the game") is published by Cygen Tech. This policy explains what information the game uses when you play in a web browser or in the Android app, and the choices you have.

Playing without an account

You can play without signing in. In that case the game collects nothing about you; apart from downloading the game itself (the Android app loads it from our website, and keeps a copy on your device so it also works offline), it makes no network requests while you play. Your progress (unlocked levels, best scores, stars, settings and any paused flight) is saved only on your own device.

Pilot profiles (optional account)

If you choose to create a pilot profile, we store the following so your progress can follow you to other devices:

Leaderboards are public

If you have a pilot profile, your pilot name and your best landing times, stars and scores are shown on the public leaderboards to anyone playing the game. Your email address is never shown. Choose a pilot name you are happy to make public; you can change it at any time and the leaderboards update. Pilot names must be suitable for a public leaderboard.

We use this information only to run your profile, save your game and provide items you buy. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers named in this policy (Google Firebase, and PayPal or Google Play when you buy something). The game has no ads, analytics or tracking.

Purchases

If you buy an item, payment is handled by PayPal on the website or by Google Play in the Android app. We never receive or store your card or bank details. We keep a record of each purchase — the item, price, date, your pilot profile and the PayPal or Google Play transaction ID — to unlock your items on every device, handle refunds and meet accounting and tax obligations. PayPal and Google process your payment under their own privacy policies.

Credits, unlocked rockets and upgrades, and the rocket you have equipped are saved with your game progress.

Where it is stored

Profiles are stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google on our behalf. Data is sent over encrypted connections. Each player's save can only be read or changed by that signed-in player.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your profile is kept until you delete it. You can delete your account and all of its cloud data at any time in the game: Pilot Profile → Delete account. This removes your sign-in, your cloud save, your purchased items and all of your leaderboard entries. Records of past payments are kept only as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. You can also email us to ask for deletion. Signing out removes the profile's copy from that device.

Data saved on your device without an account can be removed with Settings → Reset progress, by clearing the browser's or app's storage, or by uninstalling the app.

Device permissions

The Android app uses vibration for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings. It does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.

Children

The game can be played without providing any personal information. Pilot profiles are optional and are not directed at children under 13; if you believe a child has created a profile, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
